What a blessing it is to be a teacher at Redeemer Lutheran School! I am thrilled to teach
first grade in a school where I am able to bring my students closer to Our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ. I am also extremely passionate about teaching my students to love reading,
writing and math, as well as all other subjects.
Upon graduating from Indiana University Kokomo with a bachelor’s degree in
Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement, I have worked in several local schools.
Aside from a short time at home with my children, I have spent 26 years in a classroom. In
August of 2022, I achieved a pinnacle in my career with the help of God, becoming a Minister of
Religion Commissioned (called Lutheran School teacher). Philippians 4:13
When I am not in my classroom, I enjoy time at home with my husband of 35 years
Brian, and my golden retriever Lilly. I cherish time with my daughters Erica and Audrey, who are
my greatest accomplishments. I love reading, listening to smooth jazz & Christian contemporary
music, and cleaning and organizing. I am in my “happy place” when I am camping with my
family all over the United States. During my travels, I am able to witness the reflection of God’s
power, creativity and love, through the beauty of nature.
